When you arrive at Short Stay 1
Drive up to the entry barrier and wait for the machine to read your number plate - this can take up to a minute. If nothing happens, press the button marked "assistance" so you can speak to a member of staff through the intercom. Don't insert your credit or debit card into the barrier at any point or you will be charged again for your parking, and don't press the ticket button, as this will stop you being able to gain entry.
Once you're through the barrier find a space and keep your keys. From there, walk to the terminal - it should take a minute or two.

On your return to East Midlands
Walk back to your car, then drive to the exit barrier. The barrier will lift to let you out - this can take up to a minute. If it doesn't, press the button marked "assistance" and a member of staff will let you out. Don't insert your credit or debit card into the barrier at any point or you will be charged again for your parking.
Important Information
We recommend removing any hand sanitiser from your car while you're away - during hot weather it can become flammable.
Early or late? The car park offers a 6 hour grace period at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £20 per day, which is subject to change.

From the North:
- Leave the M1 at junction 24, taking the third exit for Ashby road.
From the South:
- Just take junction 23a.
- At the roundabout and take the second exit onto the A453.
- Go straight over the first roundabout, then right at the next into the airport.
