The credit crunch no longer means you can't afford fine dining, thanks to the Days Hotel's new recession-busting dinner menu.
Steak, fish and chips, pasta dishes, vegetarian dishes, curries, meat dishes and salads are among the choices, and prices start from £3.95 for a starter and £7.95 for a main course.
Start with ginger chicken with soy sauce, then tuck into the Barnsley chop, an 8oz lamb chop with minted new potatoes and peas, before finishing off with rocky road chocolate brownies with creme fraiche.
Dinner is served from 6pm to 10pm. If you have special dietary requirements, the chefs will be happy to prepare you something that is not on the menu.
You can also have a packed breakfast delivered to your room.

Increasing problems with congestion are being reported at Luton airport, and the airport is advising passengers to make sure they arrive with ample time to spare before their flight to avoid the risk of missing it.
The official recommendation is to arrive three hours before a long-haul flight, two hours before a European flight and 90 minutes before a domestic flight.

- What about any accessibility requirements?The hotel has six accessible rooms for disabled guests. These have wider bathrooms with wet room showers, emergency cords and grab rails. All accessible rooms interconnect with a twin room where a carer can sleep.
Flashing fire alarms and vibrating pillows are available for guests with hearing difficulties, and the hotel has a hearing loop. Guide dogs are accepted.
