You can check in from 3pm. The hotel has a car park where you can park overnight. It costs £12 to park at the hotel overnight.

Here are your directions to the hotel:
- Leave the M11 motorway at junction 8a if you are travelling northbound, and junction 8 if you are travelling southbound.
- At the roundabout, take the A120 Thremhall Avenue towards the airport - it's the fourth exit if you are travelling northbound, and the first exit if you are travelling southbound.
- At the next roundabout, take the third exit.
- Take the slip road for the airport, then take the third exit at the next two roundabouts.
- The hotel will be on your right.

By public transport:
The Stansted Express runs from London Liverpool Street station to the airport every 15 minutes. The hotel runs a shuttle bus to and from the terminal on the hour and on the half hour from 5am to midnight. Tickets cost £3 per adult; children 15 and under travel free. Alternatively, a taxi will cost up to £10.

The hotel's menu includes pub favourites, pasta dishes, pizzas, meat, fish and vegetarian dishes, salads, steaks and burgers, though not all dishes can be part of the meal deal. We'd start with dough balls with a melted garlic and herb dip, olive oil and balsamic vinegar, followed by chestnut, mushroom and goat's cheese wellington with saute potatoes and fresh vegetables for our main course. For dessert, we'd be tempted by the lemon meringue sundae - and maybe a liqueur coffee or Costa coffee afterwards.

The main menu is served until 22:00, and the bar is open from 10:00 until 00:30 for drinks and bar food, including baked potatoes, sandwiches, baguettes, panini, pizzas, snacks and main meals.

In the morning, breakfast's another kingly banquet. The hot selection includes hash browns, scrambled, fried, poached or boiled eggs, omelettes, pork or vegetarian sausages, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and baked beans. On the continental side, there are muffins, crumpets, croissants, porridge, granola and berry compote alongside fresh fruit salad, yogurts, cereals and toast, plus tea, coffee and fruit juice.

Breakfast is served from 06:00 to 10:30. It's £10.99 for the full buffet, or £6.95 for continental only; and if you have children under 16, it's free for two of them, as long as they're with an adult who is having breakfast too. If you've no time to sit down to breakfast, help yourself to a grab and go breakfast of a freshly-baked croissant with Costa tea or coffee for £2.95.

The restaurant will be offering a limited service on Christmas Day. Breakfast will be offered from 07:00 to 12:00 and there will be no food service after 18:00.

You must check out by 12 noon. You can catch the hotel's shuttle bus to the terminal. The bus leaves from outside the hotel at quarter past and quarter to the hour, with the first bus at 04:15 and the last bus at 01:00.
